These are very, very heavy times we are living in together.”The comments came as the entertainment industry is protesting Jimmy Kimmel’s suspension following his comments after Charlie Kirk’s assassination. “The MAGA gang [is] desperately trying to characterize this kid who murdered Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them,” Kimmel said though the administration said they did not know anything about Kimmel’s suspension by ABC and said it must have been tied to the poor ratings of his show and had nothing to do with the administration of Charlie Kirk.Hollywood celebrities have been expressing support for Kimmel and disappointment at Disney. Olivia Rodrigo, Pedro Pascal and Mark Ruffalo have voiced dissent and criticised the decision to suspend Kimmel.
