Malaika Arora praises her mother

Malaika praised her mother for her strength and determination, saying, “Not that we lacked anything. My mom worked very hard and made sure she gave us everything under the sun. Whether it was education, food on the table, clothes to wear, or anything. She never ever said that you can’t. However difficult it may have been, she never said, ‘You can’t have this.’ She did it all on her own. She worked, brought us up, and put us through school, college, everything.““I guess that sort of grit, determination, or strength I have got from her. I have learned and been imbued by her. I’ve pretty much grown up from a child to a woman, seeing how she has led her life,” she added.Talking about her present life, Malaika said she doesn’t have the luxury to sit back and stop working. Since she didn’t come from wealth or ancestral property, she has always worked hard to maintain her lifestyle.“I can’t put my feet up and say, ‘Are muje kaam nahi karna.’ That liberty toh hai hi nahi (I don’t want to work. I don’t have that liberty).
