Mohamed Basil, 28-year-old man with no fixed address, arrested in Ontario for entering into houses and exposing himself.

A 28-year-old man, Mohamed Basil Lafir, has been arrested for allegedly breaking into three houses and sexually assaulting multiple victims in Oshawa, Ontario. Police said he has been charged with several suspected offences, including multiple break-ins, committing an indecent act, forcible confinement and two sexual assaults. Police did not find any fixed address for Lafir. He was held after his arrest for a bail hearing. The serial incidents of break-ins and assaults took place on November 11, Durham Regional Police said. The received calls about a man entering houses and exposing himself. First, Lafir entered one home and exposed himself to the residents but he was startled by a dog and fled. Then he entered a second residence on the same street, where he sexually assaulted the homeowner who confronted him. The man fled and entered a third home and sexually assaulted an older female who was in bed. Then he fled the residence through the bedroom window. When police arrived in the area, they located the man and took him into custody without incident. The police said they are concerned that there may be more victims.
