A handful of people hiding behind masks waved the US flag and some placards calling out Indians in Texas, and posted those photos on social media in a ‘hate bait’. They called themselves ‘Take Action Texas’ though it’s not known who they are, what they do and they did not even reveal their faces in the social media photos. ‘Don’t India my Texas. Deport H-1B scammers,” one placard read. “Reject foreign demons. Jesus Christ is lord,” another placard said. This placard even had photos of Hindu Gods with a red cross canceling them. There were three people and two placards in the photos, though they claimed it was their ‘9th point of activism for October’. “In response to all the recent “Diwali” garbage, we hit a couple different spots in Irving – a city that has been ravaged by H-1B scams and massive demographic shifts due to labor imports coming from India,” the social media post said.The Coalition of Hindus of North America (CoHNA) reacted to the hate and urged the Indian-American (Hindu) community to exercise caution.
