Several stocks dominated by retail ownership have delivered negative returns since June 2024, even after strong gains in the earlier rally. According to Kotak Equities, the correction has been sharper in names where the gap between retail and institutional ownership is wide, highlighting how crowded retail trades can unwind quickly when market momentum fades.
