Rohit Sharma removed as India ODI captain, a glorious era comes to an end

Test skipper Shubman Gill has replaced Rohit Sharma as India’s ODI captain, starting with the Australia series from October 19. Rohit Sharma, 38, and Virat Kohli, 36, remain in the squad. Gill, 26, now leads India in both Tests and ODIs and serves as T20 vice-captain. After taking over the Test captaincy in England, he impressed with 754 runs in five Tests.
