Music composer Palash Muchhal stunned fans when he issued a public statement confirming that his wedding to cricketer Smriti Mandhana, scheduled for November 23, 2025, had been called off.
Sharing a long, emotional note on his Instagram handle, Palash said, “I have decided to move on in my life and step back from my personal relationship.” What began as a postponed wedding, reportedly due to a family health emergency, soon spiralled into controversy with all sorts of allegations surfacing online. Calling this the “most difficult phase of his life,” Palash shut down the rumours saying, “I truly hope we, as a society, learn to pause before judging someone based on unverified gossip, whose sources are never identified.”
