Parliament Monsoon Session Day 8 LIVE Updates: As the discussion on Operation Sindoor continues in Parliament, External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar addressed the Rajya Sabha on Wednesday.

Leader of the House JP Nadda is also likely to address the Rajya Sabha at around 3 pm today, news agency PTI reported, citing its sources. In addition to this, Union Home Minister Amit Shah is expected to deliver the concluding speech in Parliament.

The debate on Operation Sindoor began in the Rajya Sabha on Tuesday, while the Lok Sabha took up the discussion on Monday. The operation was launched in response to the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack.

In a big statement, PM Modi on Tuesday in Lok Sabha said no other country intervened and stopped India from carrying out the strikes on terror camps in Pakistan. He said India stopped its offensive after achieving 100% of its objectives, and warned of a decisive response should Pakistan try anything in the future, while lashing out at Congress for aligning with Pakistani propaganda.
