Prince Andrew was recently spotted with his ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson, after remaining absent from the royal Christmas celebrations at Sandringham.
The duke, who is currently embroiled in a scandal concerning an alleged Chinese spy, was spotted leaving the Royal Lodge with the Duchess of York, instead of attending church with other Royalties. The Duke of York had chosen to avoid the holiday celebrations to avoid more humiliation. Andrew’s ex-wife, who still lives with him at the Royal Lodge in Windsor, also joined him for Christmas.
This year’s Christmas celebration was very different from last year’s, since he spent it with Fergie instead of the royal family at the King’s Norfolk estate, where he was spotted interacting with locals. His eldest daughter Princess Beatrice, who is expecting her second child, is also celebrating Christmas at Sandringham.
His younger daughter Princess Eugenie, on the other hand, is spending her Christmas with her husband Jack Brooksbank’s family as per The Mirror.
The most recent scandal involving the Duke of York surfaced when a suspected Chinese spy, nicknamed “H6” in court documents and identified as Yang Tengbo, lost his appeal against being banned from the UK on national security grounds, despite having close contacts to the Duke.
According to reports, the King and other high-ranking royals were “exasperated” with Andrew for bringing more disgrace to the monarchy.
