Vladimir Putin’s alleged 21-year-old illegitimate daughter is reportedly living under a pseudonym in Paris, where she works as a DJ, according to Ukrainian media.
As per The Telegraph, the young woman, known as Luiza Rozova or Elizaveta Olegovna Rudnova, was reportedly tracked down using leaked airline records.
Born on March 3, 2003, she is believed to be the result of a brief affair between Putin and Svetlana Krivonogikh, a former cleaner who has since become one of Russia’s wealthiest women.
Krivonogikh, described in the media as “Putin’s acquaintance,” is estimated to be worth £83 million, owning luxury properties, a yacht, and stakes in elite Russian businesses.
Ukrainian media alleged that the birth certificate of Ms Rozova did not name a father but used the patronymic “Vladimirovna,” in line with Russian naming conventions for Putin’s daughters.
Her pseudonyms are also said to bear connections to Putin’s inner circle. One of her names, Rudnova, is reportedly linked to Oleg Rudnov, a deceased close friend of Putin, suggesting her alias was crafted to conceal her true identity.
Before deactivating her social media accounts in 2022, Ms Rozova shared glimpses of her life, showcasing photos of herself dancing and enjoying the Parisian lifestyle. She withdrew from public platforms after receiving online backlash, including Ukrainian flag emojis and accusations of hiding during Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
In a 2021 audio interview on Clubhouse, Ms Rozova neither confirmed nor denied her resemblance to Putin, remarking, “Judging by his young photos, probably, yes, it looks similar.” She described living in a self-imposed “bubble,” avoiding news and indulging in fashion shows, dining out, and gossiping with friends.
Ms Rozova’s mother, Svetlana Krivonogikh, has amassed substantial wealth since her alleged relationship with Putin. She owns multiple properties in Monte Carlo, a ski resort near Finland, and is a board member of the Kremlin-linked Bank Rossiya and the National Media Group. Her assets and status as a Kremlin insider led to her inclusion on Britain’s sanctions list for supporting Russia’s war against Ukraine.
While Putin has publicly acknowledged two daughters, Maria and Katerina, from his first marriage, he has faced longstanding rumours about secret relationships and children. He is also speculated to have two sons with Olympic gymnast Alina Kabaeva, a claim he has consistently denied.
