“Invitation To Nation Building”: PM Modi Hands Over 61,000 Appointment Letters At 18th Rozgar Mela
Prime Minister Narendra Modi distributed over 61,000 appointment letters to youth at the 18th Rozgar Mela in New Delhi, calling them an “invitation to nation building.” Addressing the programme virtually, he linked the event to Basant Panchami, Parakram Diwas, and National Voters Day, urging young recruits to uphold their duties towards the Constitution. Union Minister Jitendra Singh, IPS officers, CRPF, and defence officials attended the event. Modi highlighted how the Rozgar Mela, held across 40+ locations, has helped lakhs of youth secure government jobs. He also emphasized India’s growing opportunities through trade agreements, world-class infrastructure, startups, and the Digital India initiative, noting that over 21 lakh youth are employed in registered startups and sectors like animation, digital media, and the creator economy, propelling India’s growth and employment generation.
