Congress leader and Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, will launch a “plutonium bomb” and many other bombs regarding his vote theft allegations, said party leader Jairam Ramesh in a press conference on Wednesday.

“Rahul Gandhi said he will release a mini-hydrogen bomb, plutonium bomb, uranium bomb and many other bombs within the next one month as part of his mission against vote theft. This is just the beginning. At least five crore signatures will be added to our campaign from September 15 to October 15,” Ramesh said during the presser.

He further said these signatures will be presented to the Election Commission, accusing the poll body of not being willing to answer the questions of the Opposition and acting as a puppet for Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah.

He accused the ruling government of a massive diplomatic failure, citing the recent defence pact between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. Turning to the economy, Ramesh said, “Eight years ago, Rahul Gandhi called GST a ‘Gabbar Singh’ tax. Demonetisation and GST caused financial shocks. We have been demanding reform in the GST for eight years. PM Modi’s GST 2.0 has not been implemented correctly.”

Rahul Gandhi’s ‘Hydrogen Bomb’

In Rahul Gandhi’s latest charge against vote theft, he alleged that over 6,000 names were nearly deleted from the electoral rolls via impersonation and software‑driven manipulation during the 2023 Karnataka Assembly elections.

The Congress leader also accused Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar of shielding “vote chors” (vote thieves) and “those who have destroyed democracy” and said he would come out with a “hydrogen bomb” of revelations about vote theft.

In response to the allegations, the BJP mocked Rahul Gandhi and questioned his claims, saying his “hydrogen bomb” turned out to be a dud. BJP leader and former Union minister Ravi Shankar Prasad condemned Rahul Gandhi’s remarks and stated that his claims are an insult to the people of the country.
