Ranbir Kapoor avoids ‘beast’ look; Aamir Khan trained at 3 am during Laal Singh Chaddha, reveals fitness trainer Shivoham
Shivoham praises Ranbir Kapoor’s discipline and punctuality, unlike his ‘beast’ film looks—he’s a normal family man post-role. Late only countable times, always apologetic. Aamir trained at 3 AM; Ranbir squeezes workouts pre-7 AM shifts. Stars like Amitabh stay timely. Success stems from passion, not luck.

Fitness trainer Shivoham, who has worked with several Bollywood stars over the years, recently spoke about his experience training Ranbir Kapoor. Praising the actor’s professionalism, he highlighted Ranbir’s punctuality and discipline, noting that industry veterans like Aamir Khan and Amitabh Bachchan share the same habit of always showing up on time.

Avoiding the ‘beast’ look and discipline lessons

As quoted by SCREEN, Shivoham said, “Ranbir Kapoor doesn’t like to look like that [a beast] all the time. He’s very normal right now—he’s a father, a husband and a son. His transformations were done with a specific purpose for each film. Once the role is over, he moves on, and people should do the same.

“If you want to learn something from Ranbir, it’s his discipline. The man is punctual to the T. I can count on my fingers the number of times Ranbir has been late. And even if he’s five minutes behind, he always sends a message saying, ‘Sorry, I’m running five minutes late.’ That’s something to learn from and aspire to. He’s a beautiful human being—his body language, the way he speaks. You call him ‘khandaani’ for a reason. He’s genuine.”

Aamir Khan’s intense schedule

The trainer also recalled working with Aamir Khan on Laal Singh Chaddha, revealing that it often took the actor two to three hours to get into his beard and makeup. “We would train at 3 am because after that, he had to sit for makeup and begin his shift,” Shivoham shared.Comparing this with Ranbir’s routine, he said that even if the actor has a 7 am shift, he still makes time to train for at least half an hour. A small gym would often be set up on set so Ranbir could work out during lunch breaks.Shivoham added that he has had similarly positive experiences working with other stars, including Ram Charan, Amitabh Bachchan and Jacqueline Fernandez. He noted that even at this age, Amitabh Bachchan is always punctual, unless he has a meeting.

Success secret

Summing up, Shivoham said, “They are not successful because of anything other than their passion and discipline. Luck may favour you for a brief period, but after that, it’s all about what you make of it. People think shooting is glamorous, but it’s not—it’s a lot of hard work.”
