Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday took a pot shot at Mamata Banerjee-led Trinamool Congress saying that the party’s “misrule” in the state has been marked by lies, lawlessness and loot.
While addressing a gathering of BJP workers in Durgapur, PM Modi said that the people of West Bengal are now turning towards the BJP with hope.
He said that Bengal is a land of great people but under the TMC’s rule, the youth of the state is forced to migrate to other states. He further urged to bring a change by saying that the people need to bring Bengal out of this bad phase.
“Today the youth of West Bengal is forced to migrate to other states. Even for small works, the youth has to go to other states…Today, instead of new industries coming here, the old ones are being shut down. We have to bring Bengal out of this bad phase”.
