While investigators continue to probe the motives of 23-year-old Robin Westman—who left behind a scattershot collage of hate slogans—MAGA-aligned figures have been quick to assign political blame. Their chosen target: Representative Ilhan Omar.
A Narrative with no evidence
Almost immediately after the attack, right-wing commentators began spinning a theory that the shooting reflected a broader “Red-Green alliance” of Islamists and leftists, attempting to tie Omar into the story. “A Tranny and an Islamic sympathizer? Gee, who could have seen that coming? The Omar connection myth
