Saudia’s new Flight Pass lets you lock in domestic fares before prices rise

Saudia, working with the Saudi Tourism Authority, has launched a new subscription service called Flight Pass. The program offers travelers a way to lock in domestic flights at fixed prices and choose from multiple trip bundles, aiming to make frequent travel more predictable and cost-efficient.

How the flight pass works

The Flight Pass gives customers the option to subscribe to a set number of domestic flights in basic economy class. Travelers can choose packages that include 8, 16, or 24 flights, depending on their needs. Each subscription is valid for 12 months, starting from the moment the first payment is made.Customers may select between two payment methods:

  • A single annual payment, or
  • A recurring quarterly payment schedule

According to the promotional information released for the service, prices start at SAR 349 every three months for subscriptions using the quarterly billing option.

Flexibility and payment features

Saudia has integrated several digital conveniences into the Flight Pass. All subscription payments can be processed through standard digital payment channels. The program also allows travelers to adjust their plans after subscribing:

  • Flights can be changed or canceled, and
  • Any refunded amount is returned directly to the subscriber’s Flight Pass balance, keeping the value within the package.

The airline also noted that the underlying ticketing and booking processes remain compatible with these flexible adjustments, enabling smooth changes across the subscription’s validity period.

Cancellation terms and customer protection

Subscribers are given a seven-day window after signing up to cancel the Flight Pass without incurring any fees. This no-penalty cancellation is allowed as long as no ticket has been issued under the subscription. Once a ticket is issued, standard terms apply and the package becomes active for the full twelve-month duration.
