The actor read the note publicly at a memorial service held in her honor, reflecting on their enduring friendship and professional collaboration that spanned multiple films.In the note, Kamal Haasan shared that Sridevi’s mother often encouraged the idea of marriage between the two actors. However, Kamal clarified that he had always declined the suggestion, explaining that he viewed Sridevi as family and could never imagine marrying her. He described their bond as deeply respectful and pure, adding that Sridevi held the same sentiment toward him throughout her life.
