Law College Gangrape Case- BJP’s ‘Fact-Finding’ Team Reaches Kolkata, Slams Mamata government

A four-member BJP fact-finding team arrived in Kolkata to investigate the horrific gangrape of a law student at South Calcutta Law College. The team, comprising ex-ministers Meenakshi Lekhi, Satpal Singh, and MPs Biplab Deb and Manan Mishra, plans to meet the victim’s family, students, and faculty, amid allegations that the main accused is linked to the ruling TMC. BJP has accused the Mamata Banerjee government of shielding the accused and failing to ensure campus safety. Meenakshi Lekhi pointed out the irony of such incidents happening in a state led by a woman Chief Minister. The BJP has demanded Mamata’s resignation and vowed to escalate the matter nationally. TMC, meanwhile, has remained tight-lipped amid mounting outrage.#kolkatalawrape #bjpvsTMC #mamataresign #factfindingteam #bengalcrime #southcalcuttalawcollege #meenakshilekhi #bjpnews #campussafety #TMCcontroversy #toi #toibharat #bharat #breakingnews #indianews
