New Delhi: Activewear brand TechnoSport, on Monday, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Odisha to set up a Rs 100 crore activewear manufacturing facility in the state. The agreement was formalized during Odisha-Tex 2025 in the presence of Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Manjhi.
The project is expected to generate employment for over 1,000 workers and will be housed in a world-class industrial estate equipped with plug-and-play infrastructure.
Currently holding a 10% share in India’s value activewear segment, TechnoSport’s expansion into Odisha is driven by the availability of skilled women workforce and the state’s industry-friendly ecosystem.

The estate is projected to create over 20,000 direct jobs, enable more than $100 million in exports and generate Rs 7,000 crore in domestic revenue.
