'Third world parenting imposed on American kids': Nikki Haley's son attacks Vivek Ramaswamy over education reforms, calls him 'creep'

Nikki Haley’s son launched a jibe at Ex-DOGE lead Vivek Ramaswamy, accusing him of promoting a “third-world parenting style” after Ramaswamy announced his ideas on education and childcare ahead of his 2026 Ohio governor bid.The 24-year-old Indian-origin Nalin Haley posted on X: “This creep should not be near any child and we absolutely can’t have his third world parenting style imposed on American kids.” His comment came after Ramaswamy said he wanted to make parenting more affordable by keeping schools open all year and extending the school day so children would go home at 4pm instead of 3pm. He argued that longer school hours would reduce childcare costs for working parents as part of his campaign.Ramaswamy is running for governor of Ohio in 2026, where his main rival is expected to be Democratic candidate Amy Acton. He has been promoting education reform plans, including higher standards in reading and maths, restoring a third-grade reading guarantee, and expanding phonics-based learning under what he calls the “science of reading.”He has also called for teacher pay to be based on performance and the removal of “ideological content” in classrooms and greater school choice for families. In his attack, Nalin Haley also resurfaced a questionable screenshot of a 2022 post from Ramaswamy. In that post, Ramaswamy wrote: “Republicans should use more rhymes when naming their laws.” He added: “Instead of ‘don’t say gay,’ they should’ve called it ‘wait until 8.’ As in, wait until kids turn 8 years old before public schools teach them about sex. That would have avoided a national fuss about nothing.”

Nalin Haley’s ideological stance

The youngster Nalin has been one of the emerging voices of “America First” and is seen as a loudmouth in pro-MAGA politics. Earlier this month, he said all legal and illegal immigration should be banned and H-1B visas must come to a stop. Nalin also said that his loyalty is to America, which many found questionable because of his Indian-origin roots and even his mother Nikki Haley coming from a Punjabi family. His comments stirred a row among White nationalists, who even called for his deportation. Nalin still stands by his hardline stance and says dual citizenship is a “stupid idea” and that naturalised citizens should not hold office. He also hopes the modern-day GOP will one day follow his views. Both Nalin and Vivek are of Indian origin and inherently support the same party; it is only that they currently stand at different ends of the conservative spectrum.
