Donald Trump‘s campaign adviser Alex Bruesewitz collapsed on the stage as he was speaking on the state during a New York Young Republican Club gala Sunday night. The video sent shockwaves as Bruesewitz is only 27 years old and apparently has no concerning health conditions. Before he collapsed, he said he was forgetting his words but then continued his speech to introduce Dan Scavino, who is set to be Trump’s deputy chief of staff. The words he uttered last before he fainted were: “Sham impeachment”.
Donald Trump called into the event and wished Bruesewitz well. “I know that Alex is going to be fine because he’s a tough son of a gun,” he said. “There’s no doubt about that. So I want to say hello to Alex, because he’s a very special guy.”
What happened to 27-year-old Bruesewitz?
According to reports, Bruesewitz was out of danger. All his levels were normal and he recovered fast backstage but many social media users commented that it looked like a seizure or a stroke. Master of ceremonies Raheem Kassam, who is a former aide of British conservative politician Nigel Farage, told the audience soon after that Bruesewitz was fine backstage and that he even asked whether he looked good while he collapsed.
“I talked to our friend Alex Bruesewitz and you know what he said to me? He goes ‘Did I at least look cool?’ I said Alex you used gravity like I’ve seen nobody use gravity before in their lives,” Kassam said. “But he’s recuperating back there so give him a big cheer so he’ll hear you.”
Bruesewitz, the CEO of X Strategies LLC, is credited for Donald Trump’s massive outreach to the younger people. He worked with Barron Trump to ensure that Trump’s popularity increased among first-time voters and the young voters.
