Elon Musk and Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni have been shipped together quite often though Elon Musk and even his father Maye Musk confirmed that they were not dating. Now Donald Trump posted an unseen photo of Elon Musk and Meloni in which Trump was also there but social media users called Trump the ‘wingman’ in this photo as it was all about Musk and Meloni’s expressions.
In the photo, Elon Musk and Meloni both were seen smiling and social media users jumped to conclude whether Meloni said ‘yes’ to Elon Musk who was seen holding a box in his hand making it look like a box of a ring. “How is Italy reacting to all this?” one user wrote. “They got her blushing and that’s not easy to do,” another wrote referring to Meloni’s reaction.
“Look how much fun she’s having!” a third user commented.
“He would be the ultimate wingman, but I don’t think Elon really needs one,” a user wrote.
“It would be cool to have Trump as your third wheel,” a comment read.
The speculations went back to September when a photo of Meloni looking at Elon Musk admiringly at an awards ceremony in New York on the sidelines of the United National General Assembly went viral. They were called the perfect couple but Musk cut the speculations short by his two-word reply: “Not dating”.
Elon Musk’s mother too shut down the speculations and confirmed that there was nothing between them. Elon Musk is known to be in a relationship with Neuralink director Shivon Zilis and they have three children together.
‘I can be a friend of Elon Musk and…’: Meloni
Meloni has faced fire for her friendship with Elon Musk but she told the lawmakers that she could be a friend of Elon Musk and at the same time not influenced by him. “I can be a friend of Elon Musk and at the same time the head of the first Italian government that made a new law to regulate private activity in space,’’ she said, responding to questions during a customary parliamentary discussion ahead of a European Union summit in Brussels this week.
