US: 2 dead, 9 injured in Philadelphia mass shooting

Two died and eight people were injured in a mass shooting late Monday night in Philadelphia’s Fairmount Park.The shooting took place around 10.30 PM near the intersection of Lemon Hill Drive and Poplar Drive, local police told News Action. Police confirmed that at least two of the victims wounded in the incident are juveniles. The ages of those who were killed have not been released.6abc reporter Bryanna Gallagher shared a video on X and said, “People at the scene tell me all was calm, next thing they heard were dozens of pops then people started running.”It remains unclear whether any arrests have been made in connection to the shooting.Aerial footage from Chopper 6 showed a heavy police presence at the scene as investigators responded to the incident.
