Ranveer Singh and Akshaye Khanna starrer Dhurandhar continues to dominate the box office, with celebrities across various fields heaping praise on the film and its actors’ performances. Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti’s daughter, Iltija Mufti, became the latest celebrity to laud Dhurandhar and its team.

Mufti expressed “much outrage” over Dhurandhar, but said that she quite liked the movie and found it interesting.

“Much outrage over Dhurandhar but I quite liked the movie & found it interesting. The casting especially is perfection. Women for once as is the case in most violent Bollywood movies weren’t used as props. Very well made,” she said in a post on X.

Several Bollywood celebrities, including Hrithik Roshan, Akshay Kumar, Vicky Kaushal, Karan Johar, and others shared their reviews of Dhurandhar, with many praising its gripping storyline and powerful performances.

Released on December 5, Dhurandhar features a powerful ensemble cast including Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna, R. Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, and Sanjay Dutt.

Dhurandhar: Plot And Cast

The film follows Intelligence Bureau Chief Ajay Sanyal, played by R Madhavan, as he leads a high-risk mission to dismantle a terrorist network operating in Pakistan. Ranveer Singh portrays a 20-year-old Punjabi youth who is recruited from prison and trained to infiltrate Karachi’s criminal underworld.

Dhurandhar was filmed across Thailand, Mumbai, Punjab, and Ladakh between July 2024 and October 2025, and its compelling subject matter has contributed to the growing excitement around its release.

The CBFC granted the film an ‘A’ certificate due to its depiction of the IC-814 Kandahar hijacking and references to the 2001 Indian Parliament attack and Operation Lyari.

The film continues to perform strongly at the box office, gaining momentum with each passing day.

On its seventh day, Dhurandhar earned Rs 27 crore, bringing its total domestic collection to an impressive Rs 207.25 crore, according to Sacnilk. The film had previously collected Rs 29.20 crore on Thursday, signaling a strong and consistent performance throughout the week.
