New Delhi: Innerwear and apparel maker VIP Clothing Ltd reported a sharp jump in profitability for the quarter ended June 30, 2025, driven by strong revenue growth and improved operating efficiency, as per its regultaory filing on Wednesday.
The company’s profit after tax rose nearly nine-fold to Rs 22.2 crore, compared to Rs 2.3 crore in the same period last year. Revenue from operations stood at Rs 65.4 crore, up 30.5 per cent year-on-year from Rs 50.1 crore in Q1 FY25.
Its EBITDA rose substantially to Rs 32.6 crore from Rs 3.1 crore last year, indicating a significant improvement in operational performance. Total expenses increased to Rs 62.3 crore during the quarter, up from Rs 49.9 crore a year ago, largely due to higher raw material and trade purchase costs, according to its BSE filing.
The company also incurred a deferred tax charge of Rs 10.4 crore, up from Rs 0.8 crore in Q1 FY25. The robust performance comes amid the brand’s continued focus on product innovation, Gen Z-oriented launches, and expanding digital and distribution footprints.
