A man crossed barriers, grabbed her face and tried to kiss her. The video went viral online. Emiru said Twitch staff did not stop him and did not even ask if she was okay right after the incident. Dan Clancy said he takes full responsibility and admitted that Twitch “mismanaged” its response and communication after the assault.

She only heard that he was caught hours later, and she believes that only happened after her manager pushed for action.
