Lab-grown diamond brand Limelight to open 25 stores in the first quarter of FY26, taking its total retail footprint to over 85 outlets across India, as it accelerates its push in the fast-growing sustainable jewellery segment.
The expansion spans metros as well as high-growth tier II markets, reflecting the brand’s strategy to deepen penetration beyond urban centres and tap into rising demand for conscious, affordable luxury.
“Launching 25 stores at the start of the financial year signals the growing acceptance of lab-grown diamonds across markets,” said Pooja Madhavan, founder & MD, Limelight. “Our focus is not just on scale, but on building a new category centred on sustainability and accessibility.”
The company is targeting 200 stores by 2027, backed by a calibrated expansion strategy focused on both reach and market depth.
“Our approach is to build a strong national footprint with consistent, premium experiences,” said Karamjyot Singh Chawla, director – retail expansion, adding that the scale-up is supported by investments in supply chain, merchandising, and financial discipline.
Limelight’s growth is also being driven by its omnichannel strategy, franchise partnerships, and continued focus on design innovation and consumer education.
