Activewear brand TechnoSport has inaugurated a 64,000 sq. ft. warehouse at Welspun One Logistics Park, Baglur, as part of its strategy to strengthen its supply chain and support the expansion of its retail and direct-to-consumer (D2C) business.

The new facility will increase the company’s controlled warehousing capacity by more than 130 per cent and is slated for an additional 85,000 sq. ft. expansion by the end of the year. Combined with TechnoSport’s 1 lakh sq. ft. finished goods warehouse in Tiruppur, the company will have nearly 1.49 lakh sq. ft. of controlled warehousing capacity.

The Baglur warehouse currently stores 1.8 million products and processes up to one million pieces per month, with infrastructure designed to scale operations to three million pieces per month. The facility supports inventory storage, order fulfilment, replenishment, returns management, quality checks and repacking, while enabling next-day delivery for Bengaluru-based orders placed through the company’s website.

Puspen Maity, CEO, TechnoSport, said, “Our vision has always been to set the benchmark for activewear in India. The Baglur warehouse is a strategic milestone, reinforcing a national supply chain that integrates manufacturing, logistics, and technology at scale. It enables us to deliver with speed, maintain consistent availability, and elevate the customer experience across retail and D2C channels, fortifying TechnoSport’s leadership and operational foundation as we continue to grow nationwide.”

Sachin Tandon, chief planning and supply chain officer, TechnoSport, said, “The launch of our Baglur warehouse marks a significant step in building a resilient, scalable, and technology-driven supply chain for TechnoSport. As our retail footprint and omnichannel presence continue to expand, this facility strengthens our ability to manage inventory efficiently, improve replenishment cycles, and ensure faster deliveries across key markets.”

Highlighting the strategic importance of the investment, Sandeep Jhunjhunwala, director, HRM & Modern Trade, TechnoSport, said, “Supply chain excellence has become one of the biggest competitive advantages in modern retail. As consumer expectations continue to evolve, brands need distribution networks that are faster, smarter, and built to scale. The launch of our Bagalur warehouse is a strategic investment in strengthening TechnoSport’s supply chain capabilities.”

The warehouse currently employs more than 120 people, with women accounting for nearly 30 per cent of the workforce, and is expected to generate over 200 direct and indirect jobs as operations expand.

Founded in 2007, TechnoSport manufactures activewear from its facility in Tiruppur and currently operates 52 exclusive brand outlets across India.
