Daayra Box Office Collection Day 1 Prediction: Kareena Kapoor Khan, who was last seen in the 2024 release Singham Again, is hitting the big screen again after a gap of two years and we can’t keep calm. The actress is here with her new release Daayra which is a crime thriller and is helmed by Meghna Gulzar. Marking Kareena’s first collaboration with Meghna, Daayra has been one of the most anticipated releases of 2026.
To note, Daayra also features Prithviraj Sukumaran in the lead along with Kanwaljit Singh, Achint Kaur, Anuja Sathe, Seema Azmi, Biswapati Sarkar, Jitendra Joshi in supporting roles. Daayra To Fail To Beat Haiwaan On Opening Day
Well, if the prediction turned out to be true, Daayra will fail to beat the opening day collection of Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan’s recent release Haiwaan which had earned Rs 3cr on its opening day.
Meanwhile, talking about working with Meghna, Kareena stated, “She knows how to keep everyone under control. She’s loving, kind, but still, on the sets, she has command. I’ve worked with several directors in my 26-year career but with Meghna I was always like, ‘I’ve to be always in check’. I would arrive on set half an hour early because I don’t want Meghna to get upset about anything. After 26 years, to have that feeling, I felt like a newcomer. That’s what keeps us going as actors”.
