Fossil has launched its Swiss-made Signature CS-1 watch collection in India and appointed Sawai Padmanabh Singh of Jaipur as its global ambassador for the line, as the watch and accessories brand expands its presence in the premium watch segment. The collection was unveiled at Jaipur’s City Palace.
The Signature collection combines Fossil’s American design heritage with Swiss watchmaking. Its debut range includes a 38mm Three-Hand Date Automatic model with a Swiss automatic movement and a 42mm Master Calendar Chronoquartz featuring day, date, month and chronograph functions with a Swiss quartz movement.
The two models are priced at Rs 57,995 and Rs 75,995, respectively. Both feature domed sapphire crystals and textured dials. The launch marks Fossil’s return to Swiss watchmaking, building on the company’s more than two decades of presence and expertise in Switzerland.
Fossil India Managing Director Johnson Verghese said the collection represents a milestone in the company’s expansion in India’s premium watch category. The brand is positioning the range around craftsmanship, materials and design as it targets consumers seeking higher-end watches.
The launch is supported by a campaign filmed in Jaipur, featuring Singh as the collection’s global ambassador. Fossil said that the Signature line is intended to bring together its design heritage and Swiss manufacturing expertise.
