Kattalan OTT Release Platform: Antony Varghese’s Malayalam action thriller Kattalan, which arrived in theatres on May 28, 2026, is set for its digital premiere. Written and directed by Paul George, the film features Antony Varghese in the lead role alongside Sunil, Kabir Duhan Singh, Dushara Vijayan, Jagadish, Siddique, Hanan Shaah and others. More than two months after its theatrical debut, an update regarding the film’s streaming availability has now emerged.
Kattalan Cast, Story And Crew
Kattalan is set against the backdrop of organised ivory smuggling and follows a violent conflict involving two rival criminal networks. Maari and Eddy operate competing smuggling empires, while law enforcement agencies attempt to dismantle their operations. However, corruption within the system and the continuing cycle of violence complicate efforts to bring the networks under control.
At the centre of the story is Antony, known as Kattalan or “The Hunter”. The character is introduced as an elephant hunter who kills the animals for their tusks and operates within the same criminal world dominated by the rival groups. The events surrounding these networks and the people caught up in them form the central conflict of the film.
The supporting cast includes Sunil, Kabir Duhan Singh, Dushara Vijayan, Parth Tiwari, Jagadish, Siddique, Hanan Shaah, Hipzter, Anson Paul, Raj Tirandasu and Shon Joy, among others.
Produced by Shareef Muhammed under the Cubes Entertainments banner, Kattalan has a screenplay credited to Paul George, Joby Varghese and Jero Jacob, while Unni R has handled the dialogues. Renadive serves as the cinematographer, with additional cinematography by Chandru Selvaraj and Sudeep Elamon. Shameer Muhammed has edited the film.
Ravi Basrur has composed the music and background score, while B. Ajaneesh Loknath has contributed an additional song to the film. Kattalan is described as a standalone spin-off and the third instalment in the Mikhael Extended Universe, following Mikhael (2019) and Marco (2024).
Kattalan OTT Platform Confirmed
For viewers waiting to catch the Antony Varghese-starrer online, the streaming platform has now been confirmed. ManoramaMAX recently announced through its social media handle that Kattalan will be available on the platform soon. The streamer also shared the film’s trailer while making the announcement. However, as of August 2, 2026, the exact OTT release date has not yet been revealed.
The announcement confirms ManoramaMAX as the streaming destination for Kattalan. Viewers will now have to wait for a separate update regarding when the film will be available to stream. More details about the digital premiere are expected to be announced by the platform soon.
