Filmibeat Update: Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2 actress Raavee Gupta aka Damini has stayed away from reality television so far, even though she has considered shows like Bigg Boss. While she is not against the format, Raavee admits that the idea of being constantly watched and judged makes her think twice.
Talking about why she has not taken up a reality show yet, Raavee says, “I haven’t done a reality show, and in hindsight, it seems like it’s been a good idea. I have absolutely no judgement towards anyone. I’m speaking purely from my perspective.”
For Raavee, the biggest concern is not the format itself but the level of personal exposure that comes with it. She describes herself as someone who likes to keep certain parts of her life private, despite being active on social media.
“It may not seem like it, but I’m actually a very private person. I know I post and sometimes share personal things, but I don’t really put myself out there. I keep things to myself, and that’s the kind of person I am,” she shares.
The actress admits that she has thought about doing a show like *Bigg Boss* and has even been tempted by the idea. However, she remains unsure about how she would handle the constant scrutiny, pressure and lack of privacy that come with reality television.
“I’ve been tempted and I’ve thought about doing a reality show, including Bigg Boss, but I’m not really sure how I would fare under that kind of constant scrutiny and pressure,” Raavee says.
At the same time, she is not completely closing the door on reality television. For now, she would rather wait and see if the right opportunity comes her way.
“So, so far, I’m on the fence. I won’t say I won’t do it, but I guess I’ll take the call when I have to,” she adds.
For Raavee, the decision ultimately comes down to what feels right for her rather than what is expected of an actor. Her hesitation comes from knowing herself and the kind of boundaries she prefers to maintain.
