Indian independent watch brand Rotoris has raised Rs 70 crore (approximately $8.5 million) in a Series A funding round led by Blume Ventures. The round also saw participation from 9Unicorns, Centricity and several family offices, along with individual investors including Diwakar Goel, Atul Singh, Adhiraj Burman and actor Rannvijay Singha.
The company plans to deploy the capital towards research and development, expanding production capacity and strengthening its retail presence in India and overseas. Founded by Aakash Anand and Prerna Gupta, Rotoris is headquartered in Gurugram and sells its watches through an invitation-based membership system called the Registry.
Rotoris said its first collection of 2,100 numbered timepieces sold out within days of its launch in February 2026. The company has since received registrations from nearly 100,000 prospective customers, with around 40% of demand coming from markets outside India, including the US, Dubai and Australia. It plans to expand its Rotoris House presence from Delhi to Mumbai and New York.
The brand’s portfolio includes Manifesta, featuring natural-stone dials, and Astonia, a chronograph collection using Swiss movements. Watches are assembled and tested at the company’s Gurugram facility, Rotoris Atelier, using Swiss and Japanese movements across collections. The company said its production processes were developed with guidance from Swiss horologists.
The funding comes as Rotoris seeks to establish an Indian watch brand in international luxury markets. Co-founder Aakash Anand previously built beauty and personal care brand Bella Vita, while Prerna Gupta leads Rotoris. Blume Ventures co-founder and managing partner Karthik Reddy said the investment would support the founders’ ambition to build an Indian brand for global markets.
