South Africa bowl again with two changes; India rest Mandhana – Delhi News Daily

Toss South Africa opt to bowl vs India

For the fourth time in as many matches, South Africa put India in to bat despite the series already being won, and Laura Wolvaardt’s admission after match three that they need to test themselves defending a total.
India will have to set a target without Smriti Mandhana, who was rested and replaced at the top of the order by Anushka Sharma. They also made a few changes to the bowling. Arundhati Reddy, who left the field with a suspected strain on Wednesday, is not in the XI, although coach Amol Muzumdar said she had been sent to scans and was all clear. Kranti Gaud was brought in in Reddy’s place. In the spin department, Shree Charani came in for Shreyanka Patil.
South Africa made two changes to their winning XI, one of which was forced. Ayanda Hlubi was left out with a hip injury with Ayabonga Khaka included, and Nadine de Klerk was rested in favour of Eliz-Mari Marx.

South Africa hold a 3-0 lead in the five-match series.
