Record-Breaking Knock for India A

This helped him even more on his way to prove his worth during India A tour.
In the finals of the tri-series match against Sri Lanka A team, Vaibhav became the fastest in making a List A half-century in only 11 balls.

His century bid came close to fruition when he scored 94 runs in 29 balls.

Soon after that performance, the selectors promoted him to the senior Indian team.

Youngest Player to Debut for India

By making his debut at the age of 15 years, 3 months, and 7 days, Vaibhav is now a part of history as the youngest-ever international player to make his mark in cricket for India.
Vaibhav has successfully beaten Shafali Verma’s record that he set in 2019 when she made her international debut at the age of 15 years and 239 days.

In the case of male players, Vaibhav has successfully beaten Sachin Tendulkar’s record, as he had made his debut when he was 16 years old.
