Jewellery and watches marketplace Eternz has launched a zero-sales-commission initiative for eligible women-led jewellery businesses, allowing newly onboarded brands with majority women ownership to sell through its platform without paying sales commissions, subject to terms and approval.
The programme will run until December 2026 and is open to independent designers, homegrown labels, offline retailers and businesses selling through social media or their own websites. Participating brands will gain access to Eternz’s customer base, logistics network and marketing tools. The company said more than 35% of the over 400 brands and designers on its platform are women-led.
Founder and CEO Arthi Ramalingam said, “The programme seeks to help women entrepreneurs reach new customers and scale beyond sales through personal networks, social media and physical stores.”
The initiative is aimed at helping smaller jewellery businesses expand online without independently investing in the full technology and commerce infrastructure required to reach customers beyond their existing networks. Eternz also offers features including virtual jewellery try-on, a virtual ring sizer, product discovery tools and digital commerce infrastructure for cataloguing and inventory management.
The company said the initiative forms part of its broader effort to digitise India’s fragmented jewellery industry and expand participation by women-led businesses.
