Bengaluru: Footwear brand Neeman’s has appointed Anjali Sachdeva as director of buying and merchandising, strengthening its leadership team to support its next phase of growth.

Sachdeva brings more than 15 years of experience across buying, merchandising, category management, assortment planning and retail strategy in the consumer and footwear sectors.

Before joining Neeman’s, she served as senior manager, buying and merchandising at Adidas India, where she led buying and merchandising operations across the company’s owned retail, franchise and e-commerce businesses. She has also held roles at Bata India and Koutons Retail India.

At Neeman’s, Sachdeva will oversee buying and merchandising functions across retail, online and B2B channels. Her responsibilities will include merchandise planning, assortment management, sourcing, inventory optimisation and cross-functional coordination across the supply chain.

Commenting on the appointment, Taranjeet Singh Chhabra, founder and chief executive officer of Neeman’s, said the company is focused on strengthening its buying and merchandising capabilities as it expands its retail footprint and product categories.

Sachdeva said she will focus on merchandise strategy across retail, online and B2B channels while supporting sourcing and supply chain capabilities.
