Bengaluru: Fashion and lifestyle brand Rare Rabbit has entered the travel gear segment through a partnership with travel accessories platform Escape Plan, marking the brand’s expansion beyond apparel into lifestyle and mobility products.
“This is a natural extension of our lifestyle universe, where every touchpoint reflects the individuality and aspirations of our consumer,” said Manish Poddar, founder and creative director, The House of Rare. He added that the partnership with Escape Plan would allow the brand to bring its design philosophy into a new category with a long-term vision.
According to Abhinav Pathak, co-founder and CEO, Escape Plan, the partnership is aimed at tapping into the growing premiumisation of travel in India. “We see a clear opportunity to build a premium segment where design, durability and identity come together,” he said.
The companies said the partnership reflects changing consumer preferences, where travel gear is increasingly becoming part of an aspirational lifestyle ecosystem alongside fashion and personal identity.
