Stock Market LIVE: Patel Engineering share price fell 2.7 per cent to the day’s low of ₹29.34 per share on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) as the company reported there was an incident of a gas leak in  Samardung Tunnel project located in North Sikkim.

The company suspects that methane gas embedded or trapped in the rocks resulted in a gas burst inside the tunnel, generating dense fumes and toxic gases.
