Thomas Scott (India) (TSIL) has signed a long-term licensing agreement with ABG-Dockers LLC, a subsidiary of Authentic Brands Group, to introduce the Dockers brand in India. Under the agreement, TSIL will serve as the exclusive India licensee, overseeing product design, manufacturing, distribution, retail and e-commerce operations, while also being appointed a Global Designated Supplier to manufacture Dockers products for the brand’s international partner network.

Dockers will enter India as a bottomwear-focused lifestyle brand, with its initial Autumn/Winter 2026 collection comprising chinos, trousers and denim across men’s, women’s and kids’ categories, along with select apparel and lifestyle products. The brand plans to gradually expand into shirts, T-shirts, accessories, footwear and innerwear. The launch will follow a digital-first strategy through dedicated online channels and marketplaces before expanding into exclusive brand outlets, shop-in-shop formats and multi-brand retail.

The partnership strengthens TSIL’s portfolio of owned and licensed brands and reinforces its vertically integrated business model spanning design, manufacturing, fulfilment and omnichannel distribution. The company currently manages over 50,000 SKUs across more than 15 brands, supported by four manufacturing facilities with a monthly production capacity of around 1.5 lakh units and four fulfilment centres. TSIL reported consolidated revenue of Rs 254.9 crore in FY26, up 58.3 per cent year-on-year.

Vedant Bang, managing director, Thomas Scott (India), said, “The company aims to establish Dockers as a leading bottomwear brand in India while leveraging its manufacturing capabilities and digital distribution network.”
Henry Stupp, president, Lifestyle EMEA-India at Authentic, said, “India represents a key growth market for Dockers and TSIL’s expertise across product development, manufacturing and retail positions it well to build the brand’s long-term presence in the country.”
