Toxic Trailer First Review: Yash has been all over the news these days and rightfully so. After all, the year 2026 is set to become a special one for Yash who was last seen in the 2022 release KGF Chapter 2. Wondering why? Well, Yash is all set to make his comeback on the big screen after 4 years and we can’t keep calm. Days after the trailer release of Ramayana, wherein Yash will be seen playing the role of Ravana, Yash is now creating waves for his first release of the year – Toxic. After all, the makers are set to release the trailer of the movie soon.
Directed by Geetu Mohandas, Toxic is a period gangster film which is co-produced by Yash and features the actor in dual role. Reportedly made with a budget of Rs 500-1,000cr and touted to be one of the most expensive Indian movie, Toxic also features Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria and Rukmini Vasanth in the lead. After witnessing a continuous postponement of release, Toxic is finally set to release in August and we can’t keep calm about it. In a viral tweet shared by self proclaimed UK based critic Umair Sandhu, Toxic trailer is ‘terrific’. Emphasising that Yash stole the show in the trailer, he emphasised, “#Toxic Final Cut Trailer is Terrific! #Yash is Back with Bang”.
Meanwhile, Kiara Advani, during an interaction with Femina, spoke about her reason to do Toxic and stated, “When I heard the narration, I was mesmerised by how well fleshed out this character was, all the meat an actor longs for. I felt I had reached a place in my career where I was confident enough to take on such a character”. To note, Toxic will be releasing in Kannada, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and English on August 28.
