Decathlon Sports India has partnered with FirstCry to expand its reach among young families, with over 500 sports products for children to be made available on the latter’s platform.
The assortment includes apparel, footwear, accessories and sports equipment across skating, swimming, badminton, tennis, football, cricket, cycling, fitness and outdoor sports.
The partnership gives Decathlon access to FirstCry’s 25 million-plus registered users across metros as well as Tier 2 and Tier 3 markets. The companies said the collaboration is aimed at encouraging early adoption of sports and making sports products more accessible to children.
“Through this collaboration, Decathlon Sports India and FirstCry aim to support parents in encouraging movement, play and active participation in sports,” said Sankar Chatterjee, CEO, Decathlon Sports India.
Supam Maheshwari, CEO and founder, FirstCry, said the partnership will make sports gear more accessible to children and parents through the platform.
